Matt Hasselbeck is out as quarterback of the Seahawks and Tarvaris Jackson and Matt Leinart are on their way in, according to multiple media reports on Tuesday.
The Seahawks’ selection of James Carpenter in the first round of the NFL Draft has been labeled a “reach,” but it turned out to be more of a stretch when it came time to greet the tackle from Alabama.

The Seattle Seahawks agreed to terms with running back and kick returner Leon Washington for a multi-year contract, the club announced today.
Washington came to Seattle last year in a draft-day (4/24/10) trade with the New York Jets. He became the first player in NFL history to return three kickoffs for touchdowns in two different seasons (2007, 2010).
